Ironhold becomes the de facto capital of the region, and the Cogweaver gnomes establish a council to govern the town. The council is made up of representatives from each of the major gnome tribes in the area.

As Ironhold continued to grow and expand its influence, it became clear that a system of governance was needed to manage the affairs of the bustling city. The gnomes of the region recognized the need for a centralized authority, and so the council was born.   The council was made up of representatives from each of the major gnome tribes in the area, who came together to make decisions for the good of the city as a whole. The council quickly proved to be an effective governing body, bringing order and stability to Ironhold and its surrounding territories.   The council was comprised of representatives from each of the major gnome tribes in the area. There were the Ironcasters, known for their skill in mining and metalworking, and represented by the respected elder, Magnus Ironcaster, The Cogweavers, credited with discovering the rich iron vein in the Balcor Peaks, were represented by the ambitious entrepreneur, Tibbolt Cogweaver, The Geargrinders, renowned for their mechanical ingenuity and inventions, were represented by the brilliant tinkerer, Helga Geargrinder, The Steamfitters, experts in the construction of steam-powered machinery, were represented by the practical and efficient foreman, Greta Steamfitter, and finally, the Clocksmiths, masters of timekeeping and precision engineering, were represented by the precise and detail-oriented clock maker, Drogan Clocksmith.   Under the council's leadership, Ironhold continued to prosper and grow. The city's reputation as a center of metalworking and engineering only grew stronger, and the gnomes' trading network expanded to include even more settlements throughout the region.   Despite occasional disagreements and conflicts among the council members, the overall stability and success of the city ensured that the council remained in place for centuries to come, becoming a cornerstone of Ironhold's identity and governance.
