Realising their party member is missing, the party delay their departure and try to find him. They eventually find a clue as to his whereabouts, and make plans to negotiate for his freedom.   Negotiations do not go well and the party surrender to their opponents in the face of the over-whelming force they are faced with.   They stage a jail break, with the help of a mysterious shadowy wolf-kin, and manage to rescue their comrade and recover all of their gear before running back to the tavern. There, they meet some familiar faces and get them all into their mansion for safety.
