Lost in the Temporal Void

Expedition

After being teleported to a barren wasteland, the party begin to explore. Primarily, by heading towards a strange light/movement in the distance. That movement was a mysterious entity that devoid of a body, and where its body should have been was a void filled with strobing lights and and endless void. This creature was incredibly powerful, and quickly began to overpower the party, but was chased away by the sound of a large roar, from what was assumed to be a much larger and more dangerous predator.   The party attempts to hide from this creature, but it finds them easily. However, it meant them no harm, declaring "You do not belong here" and "You bare the mark of the Weaver, you have permission". This creature is the guardian of this realm, who identified themselves as Jazirian. The party were suspicious when the guardian later mentioned that it has a brother, and suspect that its brother is Hazirawn, given the similarities in their names.
The Guardian grants the party a small glimpse into the history of this now barren land, calling it the cradle of creation, or at least that it was. He leads the party to the one and only exit in these lands, protecting them from the dangerous predators they encountered before. However, he states that he cannot help them pass through the gateway. And that they must overcome the challenge themselves if they wish to reach safety.   As they part ways, Jazirian reveals his true form. That of a giant winged serpent, as big as a mountain.
