Investigating the Blighted Woods

Midnight requested the party to investigate the perimeter of the Blighted Woods and investigate reports of strange creatures in the area.

While investigating the perimeter of the Blighted Woods, the party discovers a large hole that had been smashed through the wall of thorned vines that encompasses the area.
Before being able to properly investigate however, they are set upon by a number of strange plant creatures that are clearly from within the Blighted Woods. Further investigation suggests a large beast forced its way inside, evidence suggesting an owlbear.   During their investigations, Darnalore is constantly hearing a voice calling out to her. Calling her 'Mother'. After venturing past the border of the Blighted Woods, a number of eyes appear on the numerous vines and are staring at her. Icarus runs in and grabs her, fleeing from the woods as a large shadow appears, its two red eyes glaring at them as they flee.
