Optional Feat: Split Focus

Prerequisite: Class spellcasting ability (Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma, as per your spellcasting class) of 15 or higher; war caster feat

Through discipline, mediation, and study, you have mastered the ability to split your focus across more than one spell requiring concentration at a time. You gain the following benefits:

• While concentrating on a spell of 1st level or higher, you may cast an additional concentration spell of a level equal to or lower than the spell slot used to cast the previous concentration spell. Both concentration spells must be cast at their lowest possible spell level and may not have any additional modifications applied, such as metamagic.

• If you fail a concentration check because of taking damage, you lose both spells on which you are concentrating.

• At the end of each of your turns, you must succeed on a Concentration check with a DC equal to 8 + the highest spell level upon which you are concentrating (minimum of 10). If you fail that check, you lose concentration on the first spell on which you were concentrating. You may continue to concentrate on the second spell.

• While concentrating on two spells, you may not benefit from advantage on Concentration checks from any source.
