what is it

the under dark is collection of cave and tunnel deep underground where unique species lived it is separated in three zone the first is the under dark its the closest part to the surface the second zone is called the deep dark it is deeper then the first layer and less habited the third layer is called the true dark it is the deepest zone and most savage their is only creature living there or so it is believed. the under dark can be access from tunnel that go up to the surface or from portals but those are less common. the species of the under dark are usually seen as evil by the people above

history

the under dark was first discovered in year 10 by the forces of the emperor of bone he explored little of it as every construct he send in these tunnel was lost, it only was in the year 1354 that the under dark was really, the rebellion at the time found these tunnel and use them to navigate discreatly and with little risk. it was use thru out the era of bone but was forgotten about shortly after the start of the magical era. the first spicies to devellop in the under dark was lost to time but all agree that its either the dark elve or the chaos dwarves these two species are the oldest known to live exclusively in the under dark, from the start these two species often found themselves at war over territory. the under dark was not access by a surface species until a small human mining expedition drill by accident in one of the cave. shortly after more species where found in the under dark, the first are the skuld next was the craterellus and last are the tsurelien.

400 year ago

the under dark enter in a dark age about 400 year ago as the church of justice lunch their first full scale attack on the resident of the under dark this took the inhabitent of the under dark by surprise and the first few conflict where major lost but they where able to regroup and drag the conflict for two hundred years but in the end the ressources and man power of the church of justice was to much. in a desperate attempt to reverse the direction of the war a coordonated attack from all remaining species was lunch resulting in the collapse of 95% of the under dark and all of the under dark species where declare dead by the church of justice ending the war
