the seven veins

Malikaras is divided into seven twisted regions, each embodying one of the classical deadly sins: -Avidra (Greed): A land where golden rivers flow through valleys of glittering gemstones, but those who touch the treasures become rooted in place, consumed by an unquenchable thirst for more.   -Furyclast (Wrath): A region of endless battlefields, where the earth shakes with the fury of constant conflict. Rivers run red, and souls are trapped in a cycle of endless violence, never able to find peace.   -Somberfell (Envy): This realm is filled with eerie green mist and mirrors that reflect the deepest desires of those who gaze into them, twisting their longing into shadows that hunt them down.   -Hedonia (Lust): A labyrinthine region of marble palaces and fragrant gardens, where desire becomes an inescapable trap. Those who wander here lose themselves in illusions of pleasure, only to be consumed by creatures that feed on their dreams.   -Gluttonwood (Gluttony): An overgrown forest where the trees bear endlessly ripening fruits, and rivers of honey flow. The landscape itself devours those who gorge on its bounty, trapping them in the roots of its twisted trees.   -Slothmar (Sloth): A sunless swamp where time moves slowly and the air is thick with a soporific haze. Souls here drift through the murk, unable to summon the will to escape, sinking deeper into the mud with every passing moment.   -Altarae (Pride): A towering citadel of black glass and silver, constantly rearranging itself into grander structures. Souls in this region become trapped in their own reflections, admiring themselves until they turn to stone.

the four realm of the apocalypse

  • Blightmere: Realm of Pestilence
  • Description: Blightmere is a realm of diseased swamps and toxic mists, where the ground is soft and treacherous, covered in pools of stagnant water that glimmer with a sickly green hue. The air is thick with spores and the stench of decay, making it difficult for any living thing to breathe without succumbing to the poisons. Vegetation here is warped and twisted, with trees dripping with ooze and vines that spread like veins across the land, pulsating with a dark, infectious energy.   Inhabitants: The realm is populated by Plaguewraiths, spectral beings that drift through the fog, spreading sickness wherever they pass, and Festerlings, twisted creatures born from the remains of fallen beasts and corrupted plants. These creatures carry infectious wounds and spread disease to any who venture too close.   Pestilence’s Seat: At the heart of Blightmere stands The Cystspire, a grotesque tower of intertwined roots, bones, and flesh-like growths, which oozes a dark, viscous liquid that feeds the surrounding swamps. Here, Pestilence—Morbaryn—sits upon a throne made of petrified corpses and twisted roots, surrounded by vials of poisons and plagues that he crafts to unleash upon both his realm and beyond.   --Pyrrhagos - Realm of War .Description: Pyrrhagos is a land of ceaseless battle, where the air is thick with the scent of iron and smoke. The ground is scarred with craters and trenches filled with the echoes of past battles, and the sky is a burning red, with clouds that rain blood and ash. The very earth seems to pulse with the rhythm of a war drum, and the howls of battle are a constant chorus.   .Inhabitants: Pyrrhagos is inhabited by Wraithlords and Furies, spirits born of battlefield rage, who are eternally locked in combat. War’s domain is filled with Scavengers of Rust, creatures that devour the remnants of ancient weaponry and armor, only to be reforged by the flames that emerge from the earth.   .War’s Seat: At the heart of this realm is The Crimson Anvil, a volcanic fortress where War sits upon a throne forged from the weapons of a thousand realms. Here, he oversees the chaos and draws power from the endless conflicts within Pyrrhagos.   --Harrowscar - Realm of Famine   .Description: Harrowscar is a desolate wasteland where the ground is cracked and barren, the sky is a sickly yellow, and the air is dry and thin, sapping the strength from all who breathe it. Rivers have turned to dust, and the land is covered in withered crops and skeletal remains of once-thriving forests. Even the shadows here seem thin and frail, as if starved of substance.   .Inhabitants: The realm is home to Hollow Ones, spirits cursed with eternal hunger, and Mireborn, wretched creatures that rise from dried riverbeds, seeking any scrap of sustenance. They are driven mad by their insatiable need, turning against each other in their desperation.   .Famine’s Seat: In the center of Harrowscar stands The Black Silo, a towering spire made of withered bones and dried husks. Famine resides here, wielding a scale that tips and cracks as he measures out his twisted form of balance, forever seeking to spread scarcity and starvation across all lands.   --Thanerra - Realm of Death   .Description: Thanerra is a cold, shadowed land, where the sky is a deep gray, and the sun is a faint, distant ember. The ground is covered in a thin layer of frost, and the landscape is filled with gnarled trees that bear no leaves, their branches resembling skeletal fingers. Rivers of black water flow through the realm, whispering the names of the dead. Mist constantly drifts across the land, obscuring the boundaries between the living and the dead.   .Inhabitants: Thanerra is home to Shadecallers, spectral beings who guide the souls of the newly dead through the mists, and Mourning Wraiths, creatures that dwell in the black waters, waiting to drag down those who wander too close. The spirits of those who die in Thanerra are frozen in place, unable to pass beyond.   .Death’s Seat: At the center of Thanerra lies The Mausoleum of Silence, a vast, gothic structure carved into a mountain of obsidian. Death sits upon a throne of bone in its deepest chamber, surrounded by the memories of all who have perished. It is said that from here, Death can see the final moments of every living being across the realms.

    history

Long before time began and the world of mortals took shape, the cosmos was a sea of swirling energy, ruled by ancient deities known as the Eldertide. From this chaos emerged two primal forces: Luxara, the Spirit of Light, and Umbryss, the Essence of Shadows. For eons, Luxara and Umbryss coexisted in harmony, but as the universe expanded, their realms began to overlap and disrupt each other. In their struggle for dominion, a great rift opened—The Abyssal Tear. From this tear, a new realm formed: a place where the echoes of both light and shadow twisted into something darker, more volatile. This realm became known as Nytharoth, the original Hell, a domain where the opposing forces of creation and destruction mingled and warped into a seething inferno of unending torment.   Realms of Hell: As ages passed, Nytharoth expanded, splitting into multiple realms, each one reflecting a different aspect of suffering and punishment. These realms include:   Vaurion, the Obsidian Forge: A realm of endless flames and molten rivers, where those who sought power through cruel ambition are eternally tempered like iron. Here, souls are molded into twisted beings known as Hell-Knights, bound to serve the demonic overlords of Nytharoth. this realm can be access in all the layers   Morathune, the Labyrinth of Despair: A shadowy maze that shifts constantly, filled with unending darkness and shifting walls. It is a place of psychological torment where the lost souls wander aimlessly, pursued by creatures known as Phantoroths, shadowy beings that feast on despair.   Ashkarn, the Withering Mire: A realm of ashen landscapes and acid rains, where the damned suffer from slow decay. Souls here become part of the landscape itself, dissolving into the mire over centuries, only to reform and begin their agony anew. This realm is ruled by Harvoth, the Warden of Decay, a former mortal who became one with the land. this realm can be access in the tenth layer   Seraphiel’s Fall: A realm suspended between Nytharoth and the heavens above. It is the place where fallen angels, known as Seraphims of Ruin, are cast. Their once-radiant wings are burnt and twisted, and they now serve as generals to Hell’s armies, leading campaigns against both mortal worlds and rival realms of darkness.   The Rise of the Demon Kings: For millennia, Nytharoth existed as a chaotic, leaderless expanse, with each realm fiercely independent. But as the influence of the mortal world grew, so did Hell’s desire to exert control over it. From the depths of the Obsidian Forge arose the first Demon King, Azarathar the Boundless, who forged alliances among the lesser demon lords and began to organize the realms of Hell. he created malikara the realm of sins   Azarathar’s reign marked the beginning of Hell’s first great Infernal War, an era of expansion where demonic armies sought to corrupt mortal realms through dreams, bargains, and ancient pacts. Under Azarathar’s rule, Hell was transformed from a realm of pure chaos into a feared power in the cosmos, with legions that crossed into mortal lands through Hellgates, rifts in the fabric of reality.   The Abyssal Rebellion: But Azarathar’s ambition eventually led to internal strife. His harsh rule and thirst for conquest sparked rebellion among his vassals, particularly in Morathune and Ashkarn. The Abyssal Rebellion was led by Sorath the Ruinous, a cunning demon lord who sought to overthrow Azarathar and claim Hell’s throne for himself. The conflict shattered entire regions of Nytharoth, splitting the Obsidian Forge and releasing vast rivers of magma that reshaped the landscape.   The war came to a climactic end when Sorath and his followers ambushed Azarathar in Seraphiel’s Fall, casting him into the deepest pit of Nytharoth known as the Voidheart Abyss. Sorath declared himself Lord of the Abyssal Thrones, but his victory came at a price: the fabric of Hell was weakened, and many Hellgates collapsed, leaving parts of Hell isolated from the mortal world for centuries.   The Age of Silence and the Return of the Flame: After the Abyssal Rebellion, Hell entered an era known as the Age of Silence. Without a unified ruler, the realms of Nytharoth drifted apart, and demonic influence in the mortal realms waned. The Seraphims of Ruin turned inward, feuding among themselves, while the Phantoroths and Hell-Knights fought endless battles in Morathune’s shadowed corridors.   But whispers of a new power soon emerged from the Voidheart Abyss. Azarathar, thought defeated, had not been destroyed but instead transformed. Reborn as the Burning Shadow, he returned, gathering remnants of his former legions and forging new alliances. His return marked the beginning of the Return of the Flame, a new age where the realms of Hell united under his dark banner once more.   Azarathar’s new goal was not merely to conquer mortal worlds but to bend the very fabric of reality, seeking to merge Nytharoth with the mortal realm itself, creating an eternal twilight where neither light nor darkness would reign. His ambitions sparked a new era of demonic incursions, with Hellgates reopening and demonic cults spreading like wildfire across the world.   Current State of Hell: Today, Nytharoth remains a realm in turmoil, with Azarathar’s Burning Legion marching towards dominance but facing resistance from old rivals and rebellious factions. Sorath, though diminished, still holds sway in hidden corners, plotting his revenge. The Seraphims of Ruin, divided between those loyal to Azarathar and those yearning for their lost glory, remain a wild card in the unfolding conflict.   The mortal realms once again tremble under the shadow of Hell’s influence, with infernal pacts being offered to desperate souls. But amidst this chaos, a prophecy stirs, foretelling a champion who will rise from the deepest pits of Nytharoth, wielding the Flame of Fractured Dawn, an ancient weapon capable of severing the bond between the mortal and infernal worlds.
