Heroes Banquet

Heroes Banquet is a winter holiday in Azimuth. It is celebrated yearly on 24 Felim, which was the birthday of the Zenethian Children. As such, it is also the anniversary of their 16th birthday, when their legendary journey began. The holiday is known as a celebration of the Zenethian Heroes and their effects on Azimuth.

Description

Zenthai, The Dragon King, paired with the Zenethian Champions. Their progeny, the Zenethian Children, would go on to face the dual threats of Esturk, The World's End, and Passaro the Manslayer. They became known to the rulers of the world as the Zenethian Heroes. They were instrumental in the victories of the Tarterian War and the Manslayer War of the Fourth Age.
Into the Fifth Age, the anniversary of their journey's beginning became a holiday celebrated across Azimuth.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow

On 24 Felim 4A 979, the Zenethian Children were born in Hometown.
On 24 Felim 4A 995, the Zenethian Children's 16th birthday, Passaro the Manslayer attacked Hometown, marking the beginning of their journey across Azimuth.

The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings

On 24 Felim 5A 352, the Lost Vessel Seekers celebrated at Gilded Gnoll tavern in Endor, the First Mountain. The tavern was decorated in green, red, and yellow streamers. The right side of the room was filled with long tables holding platters of food and large kegs of dwarven ale for the festival. For the Heroes Banquet, ale was free of charge for all patrons and food was complimentary for any who had rented rooms from the Gnoll. Other drinks could still be purchased as well. The musical group Mithrilback were performing.
