Summer Camp Prep 2026
Week 1 - Love
My goal for this year is Silver. I'd love to do Diamond or Die, or a full 40, but last year was a hard-fought Silver, so to be safe, I'm aiming low. Who knows, I may surprise myself.
For world prep, I worked on the fonts for my world. I also updated the front page and primer and some other articles, as I had changed the name of a character, again (back to the original one). My meta exists, but I don't use it much, so I didn't touch it.
Week 2 - Growth
My focus this year will be on the regions of the Bassier Valley, the Central region, and Maurac Plains in the country of Polira. These areas are underdeveloped so far, so I'd like to expand on them, find out what is interesting and exciting about them.
Week 3 - Loss
This week is always hardest for me, homework-wise. I have no set routines. I'm no good with a schedule. I don't listen to music when I write. I did spend a lot of time watching Firefly reaction videos, so maybe that counts for something.
Week 4 - Family
Theoretically, Azarth will be the setting of a novel. Summer Camp is my most productive time for writing in it. For community, I rely on the World Anvil Discord thread for Summer Camp. My writing space is organized, at least virtually. I have created notebook pages for each week's themes for initial brainstorming. It's a system that works for me.
