Estovan Shrine

This shrine is built high above ground on the foundations of an ancient fortress, which is very different to the other shrines. Originally it had eight towers connected by a suspended ring passage, although now only four towers remain and the ring passage is fragmented. It overlooks Lake Estor, but while it's on the private land of the noble estates, public access is still possible.
At present it is nigh impossible to reach the sanctum as all passages connecting to it have collapsed.

Purpose / Function

Built to house libraries of lost knowledge, but when they fell to ruin became dedicated to the Goddess

Alterations

Unlike the other shrines it was built above ground and as such has taken the most damage.

Architecture

It still bears a single ring passage like its sister shrines but it was built above ground on the ruins of an old fortress.

History

Built by House Gladier to become new libraries of knowledge to help replace what was lost during the Age of Darkness. Alas after the fall and demise of the House, the shrines fell to ruin and became historical landmarks dedicated to the Goddess.
