City of Nobles. A canal city, like Venice. There is a huge rich/ poor divide here and they are very traditionalist. Very anti LGBT and women’s rights as well, given that the nobles hold all the power. The Voxwoods also own most of the trade ways and do very little to help the general people, putting their own profits ahead. Tight control with the Guardsmen means the poor don’t have much of a chance and those who can try to escape to Viens or Darkdale for a better life.
Nearby are the Estovan estates, the summer homes of the noble families which are situated near lake Estor.
Their Guardsmen wear copper and violet.
When the Greywater Canal is built in Eliza’s time, the rich/ poor divide lessens as Viens authorities get more involved in worker’s rights and the noble houses become more liberal.
