Adam is Eliza's childhood best friend. They grew up together in the same village, and have seldom been apart, until Adam turned 17 and joined the local Guardsmen garrison for training to become a soldier like his father and grandfather. Known for his sarcasm and dry wit, Adam's not the most subtle of characters, and will voice his opinion without restraint, which sometimes lands him in sticky situations.

Personal history
Adam was born in Velwall to loving parents, and he lives with them and his grandfather. Both his grandfather and father were Guardsmen, and he plans to follow in their footsteps. He had a generally happy childhood, though had a difficult stint during puberty as he was slow to match his peers and was teased for being small. This affected him to the point that he did a lot of exercise to bulk up, and when he joins the Guardsmen chooses an axe as his preferred weapon as it requires the most strength to wield.
Education
Adam was schooled in the village along with all the other children, including Eliza. He joined the local Guardsmen regiment in Bane age 17 and has completed his first year. He doesn't really have much interest in books but prefers hands-on experience, and loves to learn things that way.
Employment
Adam is a junior cadet in the Bane Guardsmen regiment.

Adam isn't one for books and theory, but he has an active mind and is able to read situations quickly. This makes him good at planning strategy.

Relationships
History
Eliza and Adam have known each other since they were young children. Adam first meets her age four, and is jealous of her horse soft toy that Eliza always carried around. When she refused to give it to him, he took it off her and ripped its head off. However, he was sternly told off by his mother, who kindly repaired the toy and returned it to Eliza. Wanting to make up for this, Adam ends up befriending her.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Adam and Eliza share their love of nature, especially walking in the nearby forests and going on rides. Adam also helps keep Eliza grounded, as she is wont to get lost in daydreaming.
