A secret society whose goal is to have their current leader pass the test of the Starstone. The followers have accumulated a library of knowledge in Absolom of what they have learned. They work together to help the leader ascend and then to await rewards for loyalty such as being chosen to be a servant.
None of the leaders have survived the test.
