Tenets of Faith
Vileak is the patron of all who would work outside the law to get what they need or even just get by. He is fickle with his blessings, however, and sometimes bestows incredibly good luck on the seemingly foolish, or incredibly bad luck on the highly skilled. His followers pray for his guidance and inspiration while plotting and scheming, for Vileak has been known to give such, when the plan is inventive enough to catch his notice. Vileak revels in the joy of the grift. He is the brother of Janatra, Goddess of Magic, and the lover of Aragwen the Battlemaiden.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Though some may claim to be clerics of Vileak as they sell charms and symbols “guaranteed” to curry his favor and bestow luck in card games and dice, true clerics are usually far too busy organizing crime and recruiting others to their ranks to bother with such small-time things as selling fake trinkets. Though you won’t find a follower of Vileak who will describe himself as “devout” with any sort of honest intention, shrines to him can be found in many dimly lit, out-of-the-way
