Halflings are optimistic and cheerful, and their racial luck, and curiosity, lead them towards an adventurous life. Because of their abilities, halflings rarely know fear, and are apt to keep an even keel, even in the toughest of situations. Halflings are the most extreme of opportunists. But with their small stature, the physical nature of the world often overwhelms them. At times their curiosity causes them to bouts of bad decisions, and luck helps them make narrow escapes.
Halflings in Avenaria are on good terms with most every other race. Their easy going nature makes them excellent friends, unfortunately it also makes them patsies at times.

Halflings tend to live in loose town structures, and if they have a leader it is generally in the form of a mayor. Most halflings live amongst other races. Their curiosity tends to get the better of them and they want to experience everything they can, and being with other races offer endless sources of entertainment.

Facial characteristics

Round faces with lines etched from broad smiles and laughter are typical in a halfling. Facial hair can be grown but is left to personal preference.

Common Dress Code

Halflings dress in rugged sturdy clothes that tend to end at about calf length. They prefer to walk barefoot, lending to the bottoms of their feet being roughly calloused. Tufts of thick, curly hair warm the tops of their broad, tanned feet.
