Half-Elf

While extremely rare in the Principality of Halinde, Half-Elves are more common in Linande. Humans are drawn to the beauty of Elves, and Elves find themselves entranced at times by the zeal for life that humans show. These infatuations often lead to the birth of half-elves. These half-elves grow up a part of two races, neither of which embraces them fully. Because of their dual nature, and the difficulties fitting in within with either culture, the Adventurer’s life suits them very well. Because of their isolation, they tend to have a drive to prove themselves and form a personal identity.

Facial characteristics

Half-elven features are less angular than their elven parents, but not as rounded as their human parentage. While they maintain the lengthy pointed ears of elves, the points are typically more rounded. Their eyes are larger than humans but maintain the shape of human eyes, rather than the almond shape of the elves.

The lifespan of a Half-Elf lies between that of a human and an elf. Normal life expectancy of half-elves is around 200-300 years
