Eillyass (AYE-lee-ahs) appears as a lithe woman dressed in black garb, ranging from robes to armor. She is always shown with cascading hair of silver, and has silver runes etched on her hands and raiments. Regardless of her style of dress she is always depicted as blind, or blindfolded, and carries a longsword.
Eillyass’ clerics generally wear black and silver in deference to their goddess. Most tend to stand aloof from the normal rigors of life, not wanting it to influence their duties to the dead. Some, however, see it as their duty to guide the living so they can know they’ve lived a full life when it comes time for their duty in the afterlife. They chronicle the deaths of others, so that history will not forget the deeds done in this life. As such, they have great stores of knowledge, and lore.
