Eradian plains

The Eradian plains are an enormous grassland which over the centuries has been transformed into farmland, the landscape is covered in farms and villages, with the occasional cultivated forest and city. It is the core region of the Kingdom of Eradia, It contains seven large cities, including Eran, the capital. Aside from these towns, which are controlled by the lords of Eradia, over a hundred castles are spread out over the country, from which local nobility rules their fiefdom in name of their lord.

Geography

Farmland fills most of the countryside, with castles and villages in between, to the east the Bersian Sea provides a route for trade by sea, in contrast to the south the Sea of Thorns is unsuitable for trading ships. To the north is Terania, which is an extension of the kingdom, and in the northeast, the region just touches Foxhole Forest. Lastly, to the east is the Swamp of the dancing lights, a massive wetland.
