Tonve
Tonve or Sky Ones in Elvish. So named by the Aryans due to their wings and love of flying. Created so the Aryans could have angelic servants. After the Great Cataclysm, most Tonve grew weary of human politics and left for Suna Garte. Here they developed a society of artisans. During the second Aryan War many Tonve volunteered to serve in the Elven 51st Legion. During the Age of the Godless many Tonve served as messengers between cities and nations to spread news and messages.
Tonve tend to be a carefree people who prefer making art and music rather than politics and war. They also enjoy exploring the world. You can often find curious Tonve in a library or market place listening to or reading stories.

Ecology and Habitats
They don't use conventional furniture but more use padded hammocks to sleep and lounge in. Houses tend to be multi story with an open deck on top from which they may take flight somewhere. While they prefer to fly they are not above walking to their destination though they do not feel comfortable riding mounts.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They mostly eat fruit followed by none root vegetables. They eat meat sparingly and even then usually only eat fish, though if needed out of lack of options or for courtesy they will eat anything excluding cannibalism.

Social Structure
Tonve society is dominated by powerful Matriarchs. It is not known how or why but 70% of all Tonve children are female. While Matriarchs hold the power, male Tonve are held in special regard.

Courtship Ideals
Tonve courtship starts earlier than most due to their shorter lifespans. Most start dating around age 16 and getting married around age 20. Tonve courtship is key on time spent together and or for the other. Dancing with each other or flying is considered a must. A sign a Tonve wants to start courtship is a gift of art. Weather it be a love poem or song or a painting that contains a heart.
Relationship Ideals
Tonve look for partners that fit more romantic ideals. They want someone who is going to support and dote on them. Loyalty and fidelity is key and cheating on a romantic partner may led to self educed exile.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
A Tonve's greatest love is flying. While they are unable to fly far they are able to glide a good distance. Tonve can fly roughly 50ft high with a radius of 150ft and glide roughly twice that distance depending on weight and air currents. Their second love is art. Drawing, painting, gardening, music it doesn't matter. Tonve pride themselves of their art skills and will show them off to anyone willing to look.
Common Taboos
Worst punishment for Tonve is to be caged as they fear the day they will no longer fly. They also do not appreciate bird jokes or being compared to birds.
