Lowe and Neko
A strong and proud race who love a good laugh and joke they are often seen as ether intimidating and pretentious or airheads. Lowe value strength, Honor, family, humor, and adventure. Always seeking for new horizons Lowe can be found in almost every nation and land. The Lowe race is unique in that it has two variants, the Lowe Neko and Lowe Neja.
Lowe are well known as great merchants, pirates, and adventurers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Lowe Neko have a very fine fur that appears to be normal skin and so appear to be normal human with cat features. Lowe Neja on the other look like large humanoid cats.
Feral Claws ability: Use your claws as weapons. Roll for Brawl attack. Deals 1D4 damage per 5 character levels.

Dietary Needs and Habits
While Lowe eat a balanced diet they much prefer to eat meat and dairy products. When they eat vegetables/ fruit they are often grilled or in stews.

Social Structure
Lowe society revolves around the family. Lowe live to strengthen their family. Lowe love tests of strength and careers requiring manual labor are held in high esteem.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Night Vision: Allows Lowe to see 50ft in darkness and to see 150ft in dim/low light. Eyes glow yellow, Orange, Blue, or Green.
Civilization and Culture
Courtship Ideals
Lowe courtship revolves around shows of strength. Lowe will often go hunting and bring back their kill to present to their lover. Lovers will also wrestle or box with each other to prove their strength to each other. Lovers are also expected to forge weapons and armor for each other.
Relationship Ideals
Lowe families are large with a 'Pride Mother' or 'Pride Father' having 6-8 spouses. Each spouse is to equal and each spouse must be in agreement to add another spouse. Ideally the 'Pride' acts like a loving micro village. Each adult helps raise the children and take care of the home and family property. Spouses will often have friendly competition with each other to show which is stronger. They will determine what if any the prize will be.
Common Taboos
Using teeth in fights is considered taboo. It is seen as a sign of lowering ones self to a common animal. Even in combat Lowe soldiers/adventurers are not to use their teeth. If a Lowe is caught using their teeth they are forced to sleep outside the city gates or family home for 3 days and nights. They are to wear rag clothes and sprinkle ash on their fur every 3 hours. This is done for cleansing oneself of the base animal.
