Eladrin

The Eladrin are the race are the founders of the Sun Court. They are a race of fey that have evolved to resemble elves. They are known to be very emotional and powerful and represent the changing seasons. Eladrin are known to change into different seasonal forms depending on their moods which led to the naming of the Perennial Guilds.
The Eladrin are mostly known for fighting in the war with the Shadar Kai 3000 years ago which they won at the expense of a sizable amount of their population. The rest of their population has been bred out due to their gene's recessive nature. Only one family of pureblood Eladrin exist now as the royal Solstice family in Falias.
The seasonal forms an Eladrin can take also impact their abilities and body structure in extreme cases.

• When in summer form an Eladrin is angry and ready to fight and will stand taller and bulkier with fire in their attacks and a golden skin tone.
• When in autumn form an Eladrin is giving and kind and will have softer features with a red rusty color in their skin.
• When in winter form an Eladrin is sad and cold to the touch, they develop tear shaped markings under their eyes and adopt a silvery white skin tone.
• When in Spring form an Eladrin is happiest, their hair and skin becoming a shimmering golden green that's softer than their summer form.

Eladrins can also adopt multiple forms with complex emotions and can sit in between forms.

Anatomy

Eladrin are super humanly beautiful and have shimmering skin tones and facial features that seem to bend slightly with their ability to change seasonal forms.

Growth Rate & Stages

Eladrin reach maturity at around 30 years old and can live up to 800 years making them one of the longest living natural born races. They are also well known to never show signs of old age until about 10 years before their death when they develop wrinkles and their vibrant shimmer fades.

Ecology and Habitats

The massive forests of Eastern Ireland are the home of the Eladrin. They were claimed by the early Eladrin and laid the foundation for the building of the Sun Court.
