Farachimo

Also called The All-Eye, Farchimo is an immortal being who has existed since the gods arrived on Avaleen. If he was there with the titans, it's not something he has ever denied nor confirmed. Often denoted as an Oracle, he is an enigmatic and mysterious figure who seldom speak. He is the Judge that sees all, the one who presides of the Guardian's Ascension. On the rare occasion he is also present for the Akati Tribunals against those who have broken divine law.   Farachimo’s bond with Ayursha, the Goddess of Fate and Time, is deep and complicated. It is often said that Ayursha gave Farachimo the ability to perceive the multiverse in such a way that no one else could. Some even claim she created him, gifting him the All-Eye as a means of balancing her own cosmic power. Farachimo, in turn, owes her everything—his power, his existence, and perhaps even his sense of purpose. Though the two are not divine peers, their shared origin and their respective roles in the great tapestry of existence tie them together in a bond that has lasted through countless ages. Farachimo’s loyalty to Ayursha runs deep, and he remains one of her most steadfast allies, even if his actions and thoughts are often independent and cryptic.

An Essay on Farachimo, our Judge and Eye

By Elassera Veru in the year 6709   "Farachimo, known as the All-Eye and the Oracle, holds a unique and revered place in the mythos of us akati. Unlike the gods who shaped creation, Farachimo is an immortal who transcends the boundaries of time and fate. His primary role, according to Akati tradition, is to serve as the ultimate judge of those who seek to ascend to the position of Guardian, a title granted to those who are entrusted with the power to influence the Veil of Reality. This Veil is considered sacred by the Akati, representing the delicate boundary between the seen and unseen, where the future, present, and past converge. To hold sway over it is a responsibility that can alter the very fabric of existence, and it is Farachimo who determines whether a candidate possesses the necessary qualities to bear such a burden.   For the Akati, the ascension to Guardian is not a path to be taken lightly. A Guardian is entrusted with the power to influence the flow of reality, and those who seek such power must prove their worth. The qualities required for this role are not simply physical strength or moral righteousness, but a rare combination of clarity of purpose, purity of spirit, and an unwavering resolve. Farachimo, with his vast and omniscient gaze, is the one who judges if an individual possesses these traits. His ability to see beyond the present moment, to peer into the depths of both time and the soul, allows him to discern the true nature of any who seek to ascend to the Veil.   Farachimo’s judgment is not one of mercy or malice but of clarity. He sees through all façades, perceiving not only what is but also what could be. His gaze can penetrate the hearts of even the most steadfast individuals, revealing their deepest intentions. His judgment is harsh, for he is unyielding in his standards. Those who fail to meet his exacting expectations find their ambitions dashed, their path to ascension closed. In contrast, those who pass his scrutiny are elevated, transformed into Guardians with the power to influence the Veil, to alter the course of reality itself.   However, Farachimo does not meddle in the actions of those he judges. His gift is one of foresight, the ability to see the potential of all things. Rather than offering guidance or intervention, he offers clarity. Those who are chosen to become Guardians under his judgment are granted the ability to see the full scope of their choices and understand the weight of their decisions. Farachimo provides them with an unclouded vision of what lies ahead, allowing them to act with the knowledge of the consequences that may unfold. Yet, despite his power, he does not control the future—he merely observes and reveals its many possibilities.   Farachimo’s connection with the Guardians, once they are chosen, is subtle but eternal. Though he does not speak often, his presence is ever felt. He does not demand worship or servitude, but his influence lingers in the background, guiding the actions of those who have ascended to the Veil. The Akati Elves honor Farachimo not as a god, but as a figure who embodies the delicate balance between fate, time, and free will. His role is essential, for it is through his judgment that the flow of reality is protected and preserved.   To the Akati, Farachimo is not a being to be feared or worshipped in the traditional sense. He is an embodiment of impartiality, an eternal witness to the unfolding of time. His gaze is a reminder that fate is not simply a matter of chance, but a complex interplay of choices, actions, and consequences. He is the keeper of this knowledge, and through him, the Akati understand that while the future may be uncertain, the power to influence it lies within them. Farachimo’s judgment shapes the course of history, and it is through his eyes that the true nature of existence is revealed."
