Stowerling Keep

Stowerling Keep was a fortification built long ago during the long civil war of Arilaand and her provinces.
Built long ago by Lord Rorth in the Third Era, Stowerling Keep was intended to help guard the crossraods with a nearby garrison against any hostile provinces. It was meant to always be a military fortification, with no seated Lord - as the ruling noble was supposed to be residing at Castle Leydford.
Stowerling, through most of the Third Era, was fully garrisoned and maintained. It played a large part in keeping the province it resided in guarded from invasion, and was instrumental in warding off enemy armies. However, the keep was abandoned towards the end of the Era, and it quickly fell into ruin. Over time, the structural integrity of Stowerling degraded, and it was no longer even considered for rebuilding.
The last known records of the keep indicate it was fully emptied of anything useful when Arilaand troops left it behind.
