Creation Story
The Thoemedir Awaken
During the early ages of the world, Teowyr's light reached a cavern that awoke the "Thoemedir", a race of powerful creatures that resemble men with the wings of falcons, and bearing six eyes and six hearts. The Thoemedir, master artisans and craftsmen, promised to forge the gods a creature with the ability to communicate with both mortals and gods. And so, they crafted the Three Falcons, which were given to Junia as a gift. After this gift, the Thoemedir rightly seat themselves as the right hands of the gods, aiding them in their goals, usually by crafting objects and relics. The Wyrms Arise
When the Thoemedir earned the trust of the gods, this news reached the Wyrms, serpentine creatures that were in constant conflict with the Thoemedir. The Wyrmking Eghaerd launched an attack against the gods, but they were cast down, punished to burrow in the deepest caves of the earth. However, they promised to make peace with the Thoemedir if they were freed, and it was granted. The Death of Caemlainn
The account of Caemlainn's death marks a pivotal shift in the mythos, where all of the gods, the Thoemedir, the Wyrms, the Eidolons, and living beasts of the world mourned and eventually antagonize humanity for failing to acknowledge them. Before the Thoemedir sided with the gods, Caemlainn had a personal feud with the Wyrm Leostric, who had devoured all but one of his 600 children. After the Wyrms promised to end the conflict, the two races became more tolerant of each other. However, Leostric, still driven by spite, devoured Caemlainn's anvil and the eternal embers that burned in his forge. This pushed Caemlainn over the edge, who made a plunge into Leostric's innards to retrieve his belongings, resulting in both of their deaths. Leostric's corpse was torn to shreds by the Three Falcons and the pieces were scattered into the sky, forming the clouds, and Caemlainn's body was cremated in his forge.
