Junia
Goddess of Youth, War, Athletics, and Love Junia
Junia is the Moustic goddess of youth, war, love, and athletics from the Faith of Sunlight. She also acts as the messenger goddess for Teowyr.
Depiction
Junia is often depicted as a young fit woman wearing an elegant tunic and girdle, and wielding a sword and javelin, representing war and athletics (particularly, javelin throwing). She has a strikingly beautiful appearance, reflecting her domain over love.Worship
Junia is worshipped mostly by young women who seek for potential suitors, but she is occasionally worshipped by warriorsConnection to Teowyr's Flame
Junia is said to send her triage of falcons to temples and chapels dedicated to the gods' worship to collect the words spoken indoors. They then carry them to Teowyr, where he designates who deserves to keep their Flame and who doesn't. Due to this belief, most casual speech is kept outside of temples and only uplifting and praising speech is to be spoken inside. Prayers can still be heard and taken, as long as a falcon is nearby, but without them, the words are not collected and taken.Divine Domains
