Andiya
Andiya is the goddess of harvest, war, and death from the Coristhian Faith. She is the daughter of Tvurgir and Meida and the wife of Lief.
Depiction and Epithets
Andiya most commonly appears as a young woman donned in robes, wielding a scythe in one hand and a sword in the other, which is distinctly called Strithandiya, or "Andiya of the War". Sometimes, she holds a bundle of wheat instead of a sword in her harvest epithet, Bjǫðandiya, meaning "Andiya of the Field".Origins
In most standard beliefs, Andiya is accepted as the child of Tvurgir, the Coristhian of harvest and agriculture, and Meida, the Coristhian of the dead and ruler of Dyrekkja, the Hall of the Dead. She is firmly seated as the pantheon's psychopomp, a being who guides the souls of the dead to their respective homes. While it is said that she had a good relationship with her parents, Andiya took a closer liking to her mother, as she spent most of her childhood days in Dyrekkja instead of Féhirði. She also acted as a war-time companion with her uncle Freydon during his battle against mortals who kidnapped his son Brjótr.The Harvest Wedding
Andiya's most recognized story is her marriage to the Coristhian of Rain Lief. Her father presided over the ceremony, which presented the first appearance of Brisginr, a magical ring that can cause rain to fall at will, andDivine Domains
