All who knew him whispered tales of his dazzling heists and lightning-fast pilfering skills. However, greed eventually led to his downfall when he was caught in the act and met a tragic end. In death, Ichabod stumbled upon Silas' desecrated grave and sensed the untapped potential within the cunning thief's spirit. Utilizing his dark powers, Ichabod resurrected Silas as an undead ghoul, binding him to serve in his warband. Silas, driven by an insatiable desire for revenge against those who betrayed him, willingly accepted this unholy arrangement.

Not long after Silas was raised, Ichabod learned of his sister Selena and reached out to her to join him, and she gladly accepted.
