The Knights of the Silver Dragon

The Knights of the Silver Dragon were formed in the aftermath of the great wars against the Dark Powers fought during the Age of Crisis. Elven magi exiled from Old Valara joined forces with men from Eridas and the Silver dragons who inhabited the sacred isle of Endellion. The three parties swore an oath to stand watch over the realms of mortals and safeguard them against the Dark Powers, that the horrors of the Age of Crisis might never be repeated. Thus the Knights of the Silver Dragon were born.
Over their almost 2,000 year history, the Knights have grown incredibly prestigious and influential. Mounted on their ferocious Silver Dragons, they have battled against the forces of the Archenemy from the Free Cities to the Jungles of Austrolaria and everywhere in between. The Knights are trained extensively in both martial and arcane combat and count amongst their number some of the finest warriors in the known world. The Knights are officially an independent secular organization, but they have always had close ties to the Ochtarchist clergy and often work side by side with the warriors of the faith. The Knights have been known to contract adventurers from time to time as a means of bolstering their limited manpower. They may enlist their aid to hunt down powerful outsiders, root out cults of the Dark Powers, or seal extraplanar portals that endanger the realms of mortals.
