Feinds
Feinds, also referred to as demons, the terms are used interchangeably, are the monstrous servants of the Dark Powers. They are spawned in the depths of Nemesis by the foulest of sorcery before being sent forth to wreak havoc on the world of men. They are beings of pure malice, bringers of death and destruction who live only to inflict pain. They lack any meaningful form of free will and are incapable of feeling empathy or remorse. Friends come in many shapes and sizes. Some are humanoid while others are bizarre monstrous creatures. Some demons are relatively weak, only posing a threat in large groups. Others possess near-godlike powers and can lay waste to armies on their own. They are united only by unequivocal evil, and servitude to the Dark Powers.
Demonic activity waxes and wanes with the turning of the centuries as Draxares and the Thirteen continue their eternal struggle against the Eight. In dark times, demons are plentiful and can be found wreaking havoc throughout the world of mortals. The most extreme example of this being the great demonic invasions of the Age of Crisis. In good times, demons are relatively rare, mostly remaining in Nemesis and staying away from the material world.
