Xeno-Beasts in Aurora | World Anvil

Xeno-Beasts

Birthed from an ancient celestial entity, the Xeno-Beasts represent the union of the wild and the cosmic. Each Xeno-Beast, a unique reflection of its original animal form, carries an ethereal spark imbued with deep wisdom and the power to communicate across species. From the smallest insect to the largest beast, their psionic abilities allow them to transcend the limitations of their physical forms.

Exalted Entities of the Expanse

The Xeno-Beasts share an intricate relationship with the Verdani. Drawn together by their shared ability to commune with life in ways other beings cannot, they have formed an alliance of mutual respect and understanding. The Verdani, with their innate bond to nature, serve as earthly guides to the Xeno-Beasts, helping them navigate the physical world, while the Xeno-Beasts offer a cosmic perspective that enriches the Verdani's understanding of life's interconnectedness.   In the ageless dance of the cosmos, the Xeno-Beasts represent an echo of the celestial wild, their vibrant minds singing songs of the universe's grandeur. They wander the cosmos, reaching out with their psionic abilities to touch the minds of creatures they encounter. Often, they play the roles of guides, emissaries, and protectors, using their celestial wisdom and psionic powers to maintain harmony and balance.   Their names often reflect their original animal forms and the whimsy of their prior humanoid companions, resulting in monikers that range from the majestic, like Starwing, to the more humble and endearing, like Mrs. Fluffykins. Their astral journey begins when they receive the cosmic spark, often referred to as the "First Blessing". From that moment forward, they serve as living testaments to the power of unity between the wild and the celestial, embodying a bridge between the tangible reality and the vast expanse of the cosmos. Their existence challenges the boundaries of life as it is known, adding a new dimension to the symphony of the universe.
