Bijou

Their existence tied to the weave of mana itself, the Bijou deal with a constantly fluxing energy inside them. This energy inside them is untamed and consuming as it slowly drains them of their power before reweaving their power with the rising sun.   A Bijou individual could find themselves energized to no end, but by the end of the day completely drained of any and all energy. Because of this, they can sense sources of raw magic and siphon it to fuel their power it once more.   As the Bijou are connected to magic & mana directly, they are naturally affixed to forgotten and obscure magic such as psionics and advanced forms of transmutation to fit their everyday needs.     The Bijou are humanoid looking individuals capable of changing their crystalline arms in a moments notice. Often in their underground civilizations, they would change their arms to a pickaxe, a weapon or any tool that could aid them at the time. Because of this, they are naturally resourceful and use their abundance of energy in the day to work tirelessly before turning in for the night.     Discovered by dwarven miners, the Bijou were found in the farthest depths of the underground. Living between the veils of the Underdark and the surface world, the first Bijou was found. Found embedded into rock and stone, the miners thought it to be a crystal and attempted to mine it but instead found a frantic humanoid creature fending for their life. Out of fear, the individual would unleash chaos energy eviscerating any and all miners damning their souls to the afterlife. The experience has scarred not only many miners keeping them wary of where they go, but also the Bijou as the newer species makes their homes underground rarely ever moving to the surface.

Arms of the Craft
Whenever you finish a short or long rest, choose one type of artisan tool. As an action, you can transmute one of your arms into that type of artisan tool. You are proficient with this tool and can use it as a simple melee weapon that deals 1d6 bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage (your choice) on a hit. Your arm remains transformed until you're incapacitated or choose to revert it as a bonus action.

Made of Mana
You gain proficiency in Arcana. Additionally, choose one 1st level spell from the sorcerer spell list. You can cast that spell with this trait without a material component. Once you cast the chosen spell with this trait, you can't cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell when you cast it with this trait (choose when you select this race).

Additionally, you can touch one object, creature, or area affected by a spell as an action. When you do so, you can either regain the use of the spell granted by this trait, or a spell slot equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down. If the spell requires concentration, the caster must make a concentration check (DC = 10 + your proficiency bonus). Once you use this action, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
