Aurora Defense Coalition
The Aurora Defense Coalition (ADC) is an independent peacekeeping, cybersecurity and counterterrorism organization funded by the Aurora Federation (AF). The ADC's role is to work independently or with the AF and it's various organizations to secure the Federation from both internal and external threats. These threats can range include cyberattacks, terrorism, espionage, natural disasters, and skirmishes, etc. The ADC excels in providing quick and decisive solutions, while mitigating the amount of direct military action and force through it's policy of Threat Mitigation and Deescalation.
The Coalition also operates as a large military technology developing firm, providing the AF with the software for both military equipment and cybersecurity defenses. The cutting-edge technology from private organizations like the ADC helps keep the AF's military and cyberinfrastructure as some of the most robust and secure in all of Aurora.
The ADC is lead by a commander elected each 5 years by members of the organization itself. While the Coalition is funded, coordinates with, and is often contracted by the Aurora Federation, it acts as a private entity. While the ADC must comply with AF laws, adhere to AF political relations, and follow the rules of the Private Military Organization Regulations (PMOR), it is otherwise allowed to operate as an independent organization.
