Ulster Belt

The primary asteroid belt, situated between the orbits of Aurora and Tamesis. A relatively dense asteroid belt home to several mining stations from independent factions and Auroran mining corporations.

History

Expeditions to explore the belt and the planets beyond only began 120 years after the Aurora generation ship arrived in the system. The first permanent colony was established in 0128 on the drawf planet, Antrim and more settlements and stations popped up steadily as space travel and asteroid mining technology improved over the decades.
The belt is now home to 15 million permanent residents with hundreds of thousands of visitors passing by every year.
