Lamigyns
The curse of the Mowic-Forest
"Stop jumping around! You're almost like one of those Lamigyns!"Lamigyns are small salamander-like creatures that inhabit the lush woods of the Mowic-Forest, infamous for their wicked behavior. What these cowardly little creatures can't bring up in strength and courage, they make up with the sheer size of their attacks. They're often an annoyance to the local authorities as they tend to rob every kind of traveler that has to pass through the forest.

Basic Information
Anatomy
The Lamigyns are a bipedal amphibious species. An autopsy revealed that they have two hearts.
Genetics and Reproduction
Every tribe has one to five breeding-mothers who have the responsibility to lay the eggs of which the next generation of Lamigyns will hatch.
One breeding-mother can lay up to fifteen eggs per month. After the fertilization, an egg needs approximately three weeks until the Lamigyn inside is strong enough to break the shell.
The birth of a new breeding-mother is quite a rare sight. That's why many warchiefs are willing to abduct them from another tribe to ensure offspring.
Biological Cycle
While the Lamigyns are usually very active during the warm days, you can barely see one during winter. They supposedly retreat back into their warm caves as they don't like the cold.
