Structure

The Gilded Host is the personal Army of The Gilded Lord.
The Gilded Host is officially led by Anderson, the Golden Aegis
The Gilded Aegis has three captains underneath of him, each captain is in charge of a branch. The FallowGuard, who are responsible for the both the protection of the Gilded Lord as well as his holdings. The Gauntlet, the aggressive force that invades, attacks and conquers land for the Gilded Lord. The Third Branch is Known as the Claw, the claw is a smaller force, assigned to gain more funds for the Gilded Legion and it's Lord, typically as mercenaries, pirates, smugglers or slavers.
The Captains are each in charge of three Lieutenants, who act as the agents of their captains. Beneath the Lieutenants however, organizations structure varies, with the Fallow Guard and Gauntlet follow classic military structures with Sergeants, Corporals, and Recruits. The Claw However, separates their units into bands about 30 strong men, band reporting to the same liutenant, but given more freedom to pursue their own ends, as well in how their power structure is formed.

Culture

Despite having distinct purposes, the Gilded Host ultimately exists to enrich itself and it's lord. Like all citizens of the Gilded the Lands, each member owes their lord a life debt, they are not citizens until this debt is paid. Each member strives for citizen status, so all members scramble for coin. The Gilded Host is infested with corruption, greed and cruelty. Each branch responsible for it's own form of racketeering, The FallowGuard extorts exorbitant fees from the citizens and their villages, often demanding more on top of what they already owe the Gilded Lord. The Guantlet is made of consummate raiders, who kill, steal and enslave anything or anyone they can get their hands on. The Claw is responsible for any form of villainy, all to enrich themselves and their lord. They trust and are trusted by no one, betrayal and self interest run rife with in this organization, only centuries of propaganda and their magical debt slavery keep them loyal to their Lord
They are despised by the civilians, they are despised by the others who call Lagortha home. They are only respected by the unscrupulous with deep pockets, as long as you can satisfy their thirst for wealth, there is nothing they won't do.

Public Agenda

They exist to protect the Gilded Lord and the Safety of His Holdings. All of Lagortha is the property of our Lord, and we will reclaim it.

Assets

The Gilded Host altogehter has a force of over four hundred thousand fighting men, over 300 warships, eighteen forts in the Guilded Isles and a cash reserve of over 8 million Sovereigns.

History

The Gilded Host was founded in the Fallows shortly after the ascendancy of the Gilded Lord. They originated as a rebels against the Brilliants Sons, but once they were removed from the island, showed their true colors and began to enforce the Gilded Lord's will upon the populace.
