Glimmerberry Tree

This is a fruit tree native to Aurelia. It is a fruit tree that produces the glimmer berry. The region Glimmering Orchards is named after the many orchards of this tree that can be found there. Most settlements have at least one glimmerberry orchard.
The tree produces fruit for the first time after three to seven years depending on the weather and environment during those years. A single tree produces a significant amount of fruit once a year. The trees flower during spring, then grow fruits during the summer when polinated and can be harvested in early fall. Glimmerberry trees do need very little rain and a lot of sun to grow properly.
Once the berries are harvested the berries are processed into several different types of foods and drinks. The glimmerberries are pressed for a fresh fruit juice, eaten as is, used in various deserts and sweet meals. As the fuits go bad fairly quickly only a fraction of the berries can be used like this. The rest of the berries are used to ferment fruit wine or are dried to be stored.
