Aasimar

Aasimar are mortals who carry a spark of the Celestial Realms within their souls. They can use this spark to bring light, healing and celestial fury. An aasimar can be born to any Humanoid species in Aurelia. They share many of their traits, but as they grow up they will develop celestial features like metallic freckles, lumnious eyes, a halo, or the color of an angel (silver, opalescent green, or coppery red). These features are subued until the aasimar learns to fully reveal their celestial nature. Compared to their parents they have a significantly extended average lifespan.
Aasimar are fairly rare on Aurelia, but there are some families who consistently produce Aasimar offspring due to their celestial lineage. One of these families is the Royal family of Amara's Haven. The biggest concentration of Aasimar can be found in Golden Citadel, as there are three Orc clans of celestial heritage.
