Continent of Nerath

Nerath — The Crown of the East

North of Solhara lies Nerath, a sprawling and diverse land cloaked in ancient forests, jagged peaks, frozen tundras, and forgotten ruins. It is a continent where tradition still holds sway, but cracks are beginning to show. Though long considered remote and insular compared to the southern continents, Nerath is rising in importance, as its long-standing secrets and power struggles begin to echo across Aurelia.

Meldir — The Frostbound Empire

Dominating the far north of Nerath is the Empire of Meldir, a land of deep snow, glacial rivers, and proud warrior clans. Isolationist for generations, Meldir has developed a reputation for resilience, tradition, and mysticism. The ruling Highblood houses trace their bloodlines back to the earliest days of Aurelia — and some even claim to carry divine or elemental blood.

Though the people of Meldir remain wary of outsiders, recent changes — particularly the expansion of Cilese to the south — have begun to thaw their age-old silence. Some of Meldir’s leaders whisper of ancient weapons locked in the ice… and forgotten oaths ready to be honored.

Haran — The Bleeding Wilds

Just south of Meldir lies Haran, a land of black woods, rotting marshes, and sunken ruins. Few travel here willingly. The villages are sparse and often isolated for years at a time. Strange lights dance across the swamp mist. Locals speak of spirits in the trees, witches in the water, and ancient things that walk the woods under the new moon.

Haran is a land of superstition, old bloodlines, and unexplained disappearances — a place where forgotten gods are still whispered to, and forbidden magics still take root. Those who survive Haran are often changed by it… in body or soul.

Izon — The Clockwork Hills

To the west of Haran sits Izon, a patchwork of rocky hills, mineral-rich valleys, and underground cities. Settled long ago by a mix of gnomes, humans, and rock dwarves, Izon is a region defined by innovation, invention, and strange curiosity.

A hub of tinkerers, alchemists, and artificers, Izon walks the line between genius and chaos. Its great cities pulse with strange lights and experimental tech, and its airships have recently begun to reach farther into the world. While the Cilese Empire wages war on magic, Izon embraces arcano-tech, blending magic and science into an unpredictable — but powerful — force.

Bleminash — The Salt-Wind Frontier

In the northwest, hugging the windswept coasts and fertile plains, is Bleminash. This region is home to sturdy farming communities, fishing villages, and scattered outposts that protect trade routes and defend against pirates and raiders from the sea.

Though often dismissed as rustic, Bleminash is fiercely independent — its people loyal to their clans and land, rather than any centralized rule. In recent years, whispers of something stirring beneath the waves along the Deluca Ocean have begun to circulate… strange shapes in the water, entire ships vanishing, and sightings of ancient ruins now rising from the sea.
