These are the NPC's most likely to be encountered in the Crossroad settlement.
Land Lord: Duchess Angela Langley
The living Avatar of the new goddess Star Fire the Red, created specifically to raise Her mortal children in Her absence. She tends to stay out of local politics but will offer her opinion if directly asked. She retains all land ownership in Crossroads in order to prevent a corporate takeover.
Mayor: Lord Stanley Vines
Formerly a Captain of the Watch in Aurelian City, Stan Vines was called to Crossroads to act as its mayor due to his strong sense of justice and willingness to deal with the paperwork. His long career as a Fighter/Rogue has well prepared him for this.
Deputy Mayor: Lady Marissa VonKleck
She is a elf from the great forest. She is a lady of the people, she is often seen out amongst the town. She is from elven high society and decided to make a legacy of her own. She was around just after the founding of Crossroads.
Chief Justice: Retribution
A former adventurer and Tiefling direct from Hell, she acts as the final arbiter of justice in Crossroads, being the head Judge. Her Chains of Office are never far from reach but she is fair and impartial in all judgements.
Harvest Lord: Orec Stonegrower
A druid from the northern foothills, he was recruited by the founding Crossroads government to help with farm production and sales to other city states, ensuring a fair and sustainable crop for all and working to make the fertile plains Crossroads is on the breadbasket of the entire continent.
Captain of the Watch: Olrick
A big solemn giant of a orc. He has worked with solomon a ton in the past in wyrmsrest. He is not a man of many words. But when it comes to protecting the city he is always on the frontlines. When he is seen making his rounds he doesn't really stop and talk, he is always vigilant.
Deputy: Sigfred Lightfoot
A jolly looking halfling, until it is time to act. His sword is just as wicked as his love of food. He was on the wrong path for awhile until given the option to come help out with town and earn a honest wage. Just the perfect dream for a halfling with a family to feed.
Deputy: Clyde Elron
Clyde is a lovable wizard and enjoys teaching everyone. He is helping with the fortifications of the jail as well as the town. He is a universalists wizard and has a vast variety of spells to use in his position.
Deputy: Dr.Olaf Magnusson
Dr.Olaf is a man from the northern territories. He is a cleric of Pharasma which is odd for a human. But he is around to keep the men healed as well as the poisoners. But when needed his daggers are as deadly as his healing.
Scion of LangleyMiles Prower Langley
Future head of the Noble House of Langley, a mortal Kitsune and only biological son of the former adventurer turned goddess Angela Langley. He has been taking after his mother and has a keen interest in the fledgeling sciences of the world. His unactivated sorcerer’s bloodline is now Divine instead of Dragon.
Adopted Child of Langley Sean Victor Langley
Adopted scion of the Noble House of Langley and independently wealthy thanks to a recovered will from his biological father. He has been recovering from the horrific ordeal his biological mother put him through before being rescued. He seems to be a natural for the Priesthood in the future and may become a Cleric of his adopted mother once he’s fully grown.
Hestia: Guardian of the City
Hestia the new Guardian of the crossroads.She is a golem awakened and designed for protection by Wall and Pari.
Recently made and donated as a way to protect the crossroads from threats, she is newly reawaked and may or may not take her job seriously. Only time will tell if she will become a problem in the future.
