Personal history
Densely packed Earth and rock accumulates Fire till those rocks melt and earth parches. Lava flows and sandy dust dances in the heat shimmer. Earth cries out for relief and Water is drawn in to sooth and heal; when Water and Fire meet and explosion of steam and Air rushes in to create a space for it. Such was the first Age of Aurus. Wessian's first memories were of dance. Water elementals, heated to boiling and risen as vapors, now floating and cavorting across the skies as clouds. As they and their kin multiplied, Wessian most often found themself wandering the world, seeking out the corners, crannies, and remote places. They danced over, across, and even through Aurus, always looking for new experiences and locations. During the wars and upheavals of Aurus's second Age, Wessian came to lead their people in the great dance of create, war, and destroy. It was said that while the air elementals were the least in physical stature, they were by far the most prolific at instigating the other elementals to action; fanning flames, roiling the seas, and toppling mountain boulders, Wessian and their cohorts stirred and agitated all life on Aurus Perhaps that, then, is one of the reasons that the Council of Aleth targeted the Air elementals first in their campaign.
The Third Age of Aurus was marked by the Ritual of Binding, Fracturing, and The Accord of Aleth , It was a short but exceptionally eventful age which impacted everything about the course of history of the world and still steers it to this day. Beginning with Wessian, the Council of Aleth confronted elemental armies and bound them within The Grande Sourcestone. Prior to the confrontation, Wessian had paid little head to the mortals, some accounts even claim that they had not even been aware of the mortals' existence until that moment. Once the Fracturing released their ascended form back into the world, Wessian was enraged by the attempt to restrain the elements and natural forces of the world. Subsequently, they were the most vicious in their assaults on the Coucil during the Godswar that followed.
It was Valkis who finally brought them around during the negotiations of the Accord. Growing weary of the conflict and fighting, Wessian began to long for a return to the days of careless roaming. Valkis joined them in a dance across the skies, as Wessian recalled the joy of living and being. With the Accord signed, Wessian became the God of Air and Travelers.
