Lindana, Festival of Lights. Held on the second week of the second month of the Auren year, this festival comes as the first true flowers and showers of spring reach their peak, when folks are cleaning out winter's refuse. Colored lanterns and candles are places in every window, est atop poles along streets and roads in towns, and strung from building to building throughout cities. Dances are held nightly and during the day ceremonies involving the burning of scripts listing past sins and grievances are held. Alters and temples a cleansed and reconsecrated throughout the week of the festival.

General Physical Condition

Small framed and thin, Benjan is not very muscular, but neither is he scrawny or unhealthy looking, he does however occasionally appear as though a slight radiance is shining through him; not quite translucent, but not entirely solid either. He is of middling height among the Alethean deities. His skin tone is deeply tanned brown.

Personal history

Like Shantai; Goddess of Death and the Afterlife, Benjan arose in the wake of the fracturing of The Grande Sourcestone and the deaths of Kelbenth of the Council of Aleth and Radishan of the Light Elementals. Initially he only claimed the title of God of Purification, however within a century of the signing of The Accord of Aleth Life and Rebirth had been added to his portfolio.
