Dragons

dragons were the first living creatures in Atrathra, existing from the dawn of time itself, perhaps even before it. They lived in The First Age, when the lands were not yet made and there was nothing but, the sky and the water. After the First Age, only 6 great dragons were left. Neckisar was the oldest and therefore the largest. His scales were glistening obsidian black, his eyes were golden and red and he was the wisest of them all. Ganalei, was the ruler of the skies. She was wild and unpredictable and the only one of the Six who could breathe fire. Mircan had blinding pale blue scales of ice, which captured the light in their cold labyrinth; and piercing blue eyes, making him perhaps the most beautiful of the surviving dragons. He was a merciless vain being, at his worst, ruthless, but there was a mysterious wisdom within him, born of the ages. Depphira was the mother of nature and all things that grow. She had deep green scales, kind brown eyes, and was merry carrying a light heart. Cestos ruled the sea. She was the mightiest of the dragons, with the power to topple kingdoms, in her talons. But there were none for her to topple. She was also one of the wisest and the strongest. Boldur was the smallest and the wittiest, at least, a staggering tenth the size of the others of his kind. But he made up for it with his scintillating mind. His eyes were cobalt blue and his scales were a mixture of grey storm clouds, blue seas, and dark rocks.
