Socks Barnaby is a ginger tom catfolk. As a heavyweight mouser, he provides bouncer duty at the Kit-Kat Club in Downtown Atramentum, near the Docks. He is one of the few catfolk who attend the club that values law and order, although likely in a manner that still wouldn't endeer him to the Police Force.
