The Scorched Circle

This massive coliseum is located in the heart of the desert near the oasis town of Zephyr's and is made entirely of sandstone. The arena is surrounded by towering dunes, and the only entrance is a large archway that leads into the center of the coliseum.
The playing field itself is a large circular pit with a sandy floor. The two team bases are located on opposite sides of the pit, each with its own unique set of obstacles, such as walls, traps, and barriers. In the center of the arena is a bridge across the deepest area of the pit, at the bottom of which is magical quicksand that envelops and removes any player who falls into it.
During matches, the players must navigate the obstacles and work together to capture the flag from the opposing team's base and bring it back to their own. The team that captures the flag and returns it to their base first wins the game.
The Sands of Retribution is known for its harsh environment, with temperatures soaring during the day and dropping to freezing at night. This adds an additional challenge for the players, as they must battle not only their opponents but also the elements. Games sometimes have their first two rounds many hours apart so that one round is in the sun and one is at night.
Spectators can view the match from the surrounding dunes or from specially constructed seating areas carved into the sandstone walls of the coliseum. The entire arena is lit up with torches and braziers, casting flickering shadows across the sand and creating a dramatic atmosphere for the game.
