Elf

Basic Information

Elves are a diverse collection of hundreds of similar humanoid subspecies noted for their pointed ears and long lifespans. Many elven subraces have innate magic to them ranging from subtle to overt. Their diversity stems from their enormous pantheon of hundreds of racial patrons, each governing over the elves of some part of the world, though they all share a common ancestry in the Aeli.

Anatomy

An elf is a warm-blooded sapient mammalian upright biped distinguished from other humanoids by pointed ears and long lifespans. Elves display a diversity of form greater than that of most other sapient species with hundreds of subraces throughout the Worlds.

Growth and Development

Elven pregnancies last for years, with exact length varying by subspecies. Similarly they spend a very long time as children, with Sylmeradai youths requiring fifty years to mature.
