Hoki Suru (hoe-key sue-rue)
The hoki suru are a non-biological species made up of sentient crystalline structures. They are capible of most biological processes, though the intricacies of their makeup are poorly understood. Though their sapience is clear, as evident by their considerable intelect.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Hoki suru are made up of crystals, and have no biological cells. Instead, a unique crystal lattice within them acts as a sort of computer, grating them sapience. Energy wise, they consume other minerals and inert crystals to survive. The crystals themselves are translucent, and come in a rainbow of colors.
Ecology and Habitats
The hoki suru emerged from beneath the moutains of Kunakhan. The mineral rich earth and lack of predators allowed the to flourish.
