Harpy (har-pee)

Harpies are avian creatures related to both humans and eagles. Aside from their wings, both their hair and limbs resemble that of birds. They also posses the ability to vocalize much louder than most humanoids, an ability they use both for performing and for hunting.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A harpies primary trait are large, feathery wings extending from their waists. Simularly, their arms and legs are scaly, ending in sharp talons. In place of hair, harpies grow feathers on their heads, usualy the same color as their wings. Internaly, their larger than average lungs grant them greater endurance and louder voices.

Ecology and Habitats

Virdo is rocky and dry, with sweltering days and frigid nights. Harpies would use the clifsides to shelter from the harsh weather.
