Araneav (a-ran-ee-av)

Araneav are a bipedal speicies closly related to arachnids. They poses three pairs of human like arms, making them effective multitaskers. This also grants them exceptional climbing skills. Along with that, they are able to produce a strong, silk like thread often used in textiles and webs. Wether or not they evolved naturaly is unclear, as they tend to have an above average affinity with magic.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Araneav are roughly human shaped, with the notible exeption of 6 arms. These arms are all conected around the sholders, and can each move separately. This is primaraly used to climb walls and webs. Their skin is covered with short hairs, usualy colored black, brown, red, or white. They have 6 smaller eys surounding their main eyes, all of which are pure black. Their jaws are split down the middle, alowing both halves to move independently. This alows them to consume large prey quickly. On their lower back they posses a glad that can produce a form of spiders silk, which they can use to weave or form webs.

Ecology and Habitats

The homeland of the araneav is rocky and heavily wooded. Dotted with caves, this region is perfectly suited for the construction of webs, something the araneav take advantage of.
