The Battle of the Veiled Planes was held when a large rift opened to a demonic realm, spilling forth countless demons. Many Rift Hunters died to close the portal, but the demons were pushed back before the horde could spread to other regions. The area has since become known as Flame's Kiss after the destruction wrought upon the surrounding area.
