Beside the sheer size of these creatures, what truly makes them deadly is a life draining aura that seems to extend from them. Creatures who ventre too close to one of The Children end up a emaciated husks devoid of life and nutrients.
One group managed to reach these beasts at a great personal cost, leaving several disabled or the remainder of their life. They howerver managed to discover that these creatures have intellegene and lanaguess. Little came fro the discovery oterh than odd speech when queries who they were.
The translation took a while cross referencing across older langaues of the world. The closest Agreed Translation is Children of Thran. However it is still a scientific debate if Thran is still an untranslated worldr if it is a proper Noun or name
